 The
Air Injection is revolutionizing the starch adhesive industry! The AIRmachine, designed and developed exclusively for the corrugator is field tested and proven. The patented process of introducing micro-bubbles to starch reduces the amount of adhesive that is applied at the glue applicators without compromising pin adhesion or board performance. This micro-bubble technology reduces starch consumption/cost, improves quality and productivity.
AIRmate, a proprietary blend of surfactants has been specifically developed to enhance micro-bubble formation and to aid in the retention of air in starch based adhesives. AIRmate can increase the amount of air in the starch by up to 20%, resulting in higher starch savings and flatter board.

AIRzyme is designed to eliminate specialty carrier starches in adhesives for corrugated board. It is a proprietary compound that reacts with regular pearl starch in the cooked portion of the adhesive to produce a “carrier” in-situ, resulting in reduced cost and improved quality. AIRzyme could also be used in conjunction with the Airzyme to achieve superior results.
